As an independent medium-sized manufacturer, our focus is on chip design and the production of customer- or application-specific semiconductor circuits. The comprehensive know-how in the field of modern mixed-signal ASICs and ASSPs results from a large number of successfully implemented customer projects. High quality standards, delivery reliability and zero error policy, 100% final test in our own test department are appreciated by our customers. We produce a wide range of mixed-signal opto-, hall-, etc. Sensor ICs, BUS interface circuits, various controller ASICs for motor controls in cars or consumer goods, or driver modules for LED or LC displays for industrial automation, the automotive industry, consumer goods and medical electronics.
Beginning with a technical specification over the complete IC development, sample production, qualification and documentation up to mass production of the ASICs or ASSPs, tested in our own test department, we offer the complete service of a modern Fabless Semiconductor Company, Foundry-independent and are therefore able to provide the best technically and economically favorable solution.

Dr. Lutz Porombka has studied electronics in Dresden and made his doctors degree beginning of the 80th. Since this time he is involved in IC design and worked in several responsible positions at different semiconductor companies. In 1999 he founded together with three specialists the CREATIVE CHIPS GmbH and forms with his technical knowledge the development of the company.
Dipl.-Phys. Roland Obst
Managing Director and COO
Roland Obst studied semiconductor physics in Berlin, followed by first years as an engineer for digital hard- and software development. Since the beginning of the 90th years he is working in marketing/sales for ASIC/ASSP business as Project- and Key-Account-Manager at well-respected semiconductor manufacturers. His contacts and marketing know-how conduce to the successful company development. He is one of the founders of the company.
Dr.-Ing. Dietmar Warning
Design Center CREATIVE CHIPS Dresden GmbH
Dr. Dietmar Warning studied Physics and Technology of Electron Devices in Ilmenau/Thuringia. After starting as a design engineer he was specialized in the area of characterization of electron devices and circuits for the use of EDA tools in the ASIC design flow. Dietmar Warning held different technical responsible positions in several companies with the focus on ASIC design for RF, automotive and industrial applications.

Since December 2005 we are certified on base of environmental norm ISO 14001. We advocate actively for a healthier environment, for the avoidance of unnecessary waste and the use of environmentally friendly resources and raw materials.
Requirements of the Automotive Industry
As a supplier of the automotive industry we are aware of the high requirements and demands on our products. Both for development and production with final test we are certified according to the quality standard for the automotive industry IATF 16949. Series delivery can be done according to the needs of our customers (including JIT, Kanban or delivery into consignment stock).
